Privacy
What stays on this Mac
Recording, search, charts, and reports run offline. Window titles, stripped URLs, local git, and any opted-in prompt history are read on this machine. They are not uploaded. There is no cloud account and no telemetry.
What we do not collect
Hina does not take screenshots, read key contents, or send activity data anywhere. Browser URLs keep only scheme, host, and path. Agent history, if you turn it on, keeps your prompts and never the assistant’s replies. Shell history keeps the command and subcommand, never the arguments.
The only outbound action
Opening the Dodo Payments checkout page, and only after you click Buy. That click carries no activity data and no machine fingerprint. Licence verification is local: an Ed25519 signature over this Mac’s fingerprint, checked on the device. A key copied to another Mac fails because the signature covers the other machine.
Checkout
Dodo Payments is the merchant of record. During checkout it collects your name, email, and billing address under its own privacy policy. The Hina app does not send those fields.
Permissions
The only permission is Accessibility. Hina does not ask for Full Disk Access. You can pause capture, ignore apps, and clear history from Settings. Clearing history does not delete source transcripts, repositories, or exports.
