Install and activate Hina

Your license key arrives by email once Dodo confirms the payment. If the payment is still processing, wait for the receipt before trying again.

  1. Install. Download Hina for Mac, open the disk image, and drag Hina into Applications.
  2. Activate. Open Hina’s Settings, click Activate in the license row, and paste the key from your purchase email. Activation connects once; recording, reports and search then work offline.
  3. A second Mac. Use the same key on your other Mac. One purchase covers up to 2 Macs, with no subscription.

Find your key or invoice

Check your spam folder, or sign in to the Dodo customer portal with the email you used to buy. If you still cannot find the order, email hi@hina.day with your Payment ID or purchase email. You do not need to buy again.

Move to a new Mac

If activation says both slots are in use, email hi@hina.day with your Payment ID or purchase email and which Mac you are replacing. You can still ask for help if the old Mac is lost or erased.

Activate without internet

In Settings, click Activate, then Copy this Mac’s ID. Send the copied ID and your Payment ID to hi@hina.day for an offline key. Copy the full ID with the button rather than typing the short ID shown on screen. I sign an offline key and send it back within a day.

If Hina is not for you

Ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. The refund policy explains how. Your local recordings are not deleted.
