- Month has a Read monthly recap button that turns the month into one document, project by project in order of recorded time, with Copy month material beside it, and the command line's
--monthly,--quarterlyand--rangebuild the same document for a month, a quarter or any range up to a year. - The daily report says each thing once and names the source it could not read, watching X or a video during a call stays leisure instead of becoming a meeting, and a terminal task whose title changes with a spinner or the window size stays one row.
- A request you sent after pasting a log or a tool notice keeps its own words in the report, Codex's note that it could not read a pasted image is no longer quoted as your request, files an agent writes into its scratch folder count for the repository that made them, and a repository with a worktree deleted by hand no longer shows zero commits.
- Projects you touched for under 15 minutes with no commits or requests are named once on a closing Also touched line in the Week and Month recaps instead of getting a section each, and both recaps take about 40% less time to build.
- App lists in Week and Month read down each column before the next, every list with bars uses one row shape, Day's deep work list opens with the time span in clock order, and the switches in Settings use the same green as Mole.
- To update from 0.5.0, open Hina's window, choose Check for Updates… in the Hina menu at the top of the screen, and drag the new copy into Applications over the old one. Your records, license, system permission and settings carry over.

- Text now sits on four sizes with 12 pt as the smallest, the four views line up their titles, module gaps and chart weights, and app lists and the Trail show each app's own icon.
- Each Trail row is at most two lines, the app and then one sentence saying what you did in which project and how often you stepped out, and with away hidden, one stretch of work split by idle gaps reads as one row again.
- Day no longer lists three things you did today, since that belongs to the daily report, and the short recap at the top of yesterday's report is now picked by rule from the original sentences of your local commits, prompts and window records, so it no longer depends on Apple's on-device model and appears on Macs in every region.
- A bilingual table of nearly ten thousand Mac apps and over 24,000 websites ships in the app, so apps and sites the existing rules missed get a fitting category and their proper name, and the daily report says things like booking train tickets on 12306 or chatting in WeChat. The table updates with each release and is never downloaded.
- Files you edit locally are recognised by extension, self-hosted GitLab, Jenkins or Grafana by their host name, and the daily report knows the everyday commands of more toolchains such as uv, Terraform, Helm and Gradle, with a short note on what each one does.
- Adult and illegal sites are handled like a private window: only the browser and the time are kept, never the title or URL, earlier records of them are hidden too, and the table names no adult, gambling or illegal site or app.
- To update from 0.4.0, open Hina's window, choose Check for Updates… in the Hina menu at the top of the screen, and drag the new copy into Applications over the old one. Your records, license, system permission and settings carry over.

0.4.0 · 22 October 2026
- A moonlit palette and a new icon set throughout, and the four views are now called Day, Trail, Week and Month, the same names the daily report and the command line use.
- Day opens with up to three specific things you did today, each taken word for word from your local commits, your prompts or your window records, and the daily report now leads with what you did before listing the commits, prompts and activity behind it.
- The Data tab in Settings can rename a project or fold one folder into another project, and every past day's totals, reports and search results are recounted under the new name.
- The status menu shows which projects today's time went to and your longest stretch of focus, and the daily report ends with when the day started and when you usually finish.
- With Read agent sessions on, your Cursor prompts count too, while sessions that Claude Code or Codex ran on your behalf in a temporary folder no longer count as your own prompts or time.
- Care reminders follow the local time: a nudge to walk during the day, a screen break in the evening, and late at night only a reminder to rest, with no timed-break button.
- Query strings and login details in browser titles, and query strings in links pasted into agent prompts, are removed as they are read, so one-time login links and presigned download URLs never reach your reports or search.
- First launch keeps only the system permission and three optional data sources, with the trial, price, update and refund terms on the same page.
- After the trial, a locked view says first that recording never stopped and then offers activation, and a key from the purchase email now activates Hina only.
- Typing pinyin in search no longer draws the hint over your composition, and Esc cancels the composition instead of closing search.
- Updating from 0.3.x is not automatic: open Hina's window, choose Check for Updates… in the Hina menu at the top of the screen, and drag the new copy into Applications over the old one. Your records, license, system permission and settings carry over.

- New rabbit mark across the app icon, favicon, and website mark; the icon geometry now lives in one generator.
- Product screenshots refreshed, and the favicon and touch icon regenerated from the new mark.
- No change to what Hina records or reads.

- Local memory search understands dates and relative days, such as “yesterday” or “last week”.
- Time in the Claude and Codex desktop apps is attributed to the project the agent was working in.
- An optional local income estimate, off by default, and a first-run screen with the three local sources plus a way to look at yesterday.
- The seventh recorded trial day is available again.
